I arrived in Spain in December 2015, after 27 years of daily drinking and drug abuse. I was broken, desperate and had no will to live. Three months on I feel like I have never felt before; grateful for my sobriety and ready for the start of my new life in the big wide world.
As soon as I arrived at the residential rehab, I was introduced to the 12-step program of recovery, which I was taken through completely during my stay. For the first time in my life I had time with myself.
Daily psychotherapy sessions with my lead addiction therapist, coupled with much soul searching and self-analysis have resulted in me feeling totally rehabilitated. I now have a program for living and I intend to use it daily.
The support and assistance I have received from all the staff and management have exceeded my expectations in every way. My accommodation, the location and the food have been exceptional. In 90 days, I have thoroughly enjoyed every meal that has been made for me.

I have learnt so much through being shown in detail the 12 Step program.
